The service has a number of specialist practitioners in specific areas of special educational needs practice that are responsible for supporting and developing the service’s work.

Each specialist practitioner leads in updating and developing the service’s knowledge, skills, policy, and procedures as well as contributing to local authority and partner agency initiatives and joint agency working.
