Creating your Climate Action Plan Webinar
Tuesday 29 October 2024, 4 to 5.30pm
The DfE has set the expectation that by 2025, all schools and education settings have a Climate Action Plan. To help you navigate this initiative effectively, Leicester City Council have partnered with Let’s Go Zero. Introducing Climate Action Advisor’s Jelly Moring and Jo Pettifer from Let’s Go Zero, who will be providing an insight into the DfE guidance and assist in helping your school to create a bespoke Climate Action Plan relevant to your setting. Virtual assemblies
The Sustainable Schools team will be holding another series of virtual assemblies to coincide with environmental events throughout the school year!
Our virtual assemblies will all be held at 1:30pm via Microsoft Teams on the following dates:
- Fairtrade Fortnight - Monday 16 September
- Earth Hour - Friday 21 March
- World Bee Day - Tuesday 20 May
- Active Travel - TBC
We will cover the meaning behind each event and how students can get involved at school and at home.
