Child missing in education (CME) and safeguarding

All Children of compulsory school age who are not on a school roll, nor being educated otherwise (e.g. at home, privately or in alternative provision) or who have been out of any educational provision for a substantial period of time (usually agreed as four weeks or more) and whereabouts is unknown.

Secondary hearing impairment unit

As you will be aware we are currently working hard to expand the SEND provision across the city by developing a range of Designated Specialist Provisions (DSPs). The DSPs fulfill a vital role in providing specialist support for SEND students whilst also allowing them to still benefit from access to a mainstream environment.

Grow your own grub winners 2018

Spare adrenaline pens and salbutamol in schools project

Leicester Hospital Charity with support from the Midlands Asthma and Allergy Research Association (MAARA) are funding the spare Adrenaline Pens in school and Salbutamol inhaler across the whole region (schools within Leicester and Leicestershire) from January 2025.
