Business continuity management
Business Continuity Management is planning to ensure your service has a relatively quick return to normal business in the event of disruption which can include loss of staff, premises, suppliers, and data.
Further information
The Business Continuity Standard states –
“In any incident situation there should be a simple and quickly-formed structure that will enable the organisation to:
- Confirm the nature and extent of the incident
- Take control of the situation,
- Contain the incident, and
- Communicate with stakeholders”
The template below forms a basic structure upon which an effective response to any incident can be built. If an incident does not require a full Business Continuity response but has a significant impact on service delivery, please refer to the Sudden Unexpected Incident Guide in the appendix of the template.
Please consider the environment.
