New agreed religious education syllabus for Leicester

The new Agreed Syllabus for Leicester City Council is due for completion on the 31 August, 2024. It will then be passed on to the local authority for approval and then sent out to all schools and academies.

To enable schools to start thinking about planning for the new syllabus, Wendy Harrison (Consultant RE Adviser) is putting on the following launch events. During these sessions she will provide a brief outline of the new syllabus structure and content. Some schools may prefer to wait until the full syllabus is officially 'out there' during the Autumn Term. Once this has happened, the LA will provide guidance regarding when the new syllabus should be fully embedded in schools.
