Occasionally misunderstandings arise, often stemming from a lack of knowledge and understanding, especially about different religious and cultural practices. This website is intended to help develop better understanding between schools and religious communities in Leicester.

The main audience is all those who work with children and young people in various settings, whether in schools and colleges or in the wider community. The material will be also be appropriate for use in places of worship which host school visits or who provide visitors with the aim of helping pupils and students gain a better understanding of different faiths.
