CSE, CE, Gangs and County Lines Training DayA training day will take place in the lecture theatre at Leicestershire Police Headquarters on Monday 21 January from 9.30am – 4.30pm to raise awareness of child sexual and criminal exploitation, gangs and county lines.

Leicester schools can apply for help with the cost of projects that fall outside the core curriculum. Alderman Newton’s Educational Foundation is a local charity offering grants to state schools within the city of Leicester. There is no limit on the amount that can be applied for, although most grants are in the region of £1,000 - £3,000.

The schools' data team collect in any data/information required and agreed by schools with the local authority. These non-statutory collections are only required locally and there is no national equivalent. An example is the year 6 to 7 transition data. These collections are either to inform local practice or to provide a smooth transfer of data from one type of body to another. An example of this is the key stage 4 results which are sent on to post-16 providers.
