Insurance services

Our insurance and claims team organises the council’s insurances. This includes schools’ insurances, which are renewable annually. All the council’s insurance claims are dealt with by the team.

There are three main systems used for schools' performance data, two (FFT Aspire and DataNet) of which are available through the Schools' Data Traded Service. Education welfare service - traded offer 2025-2026

The service works with schools, children and their parents/carers. Support is provided to schools around the management of pupil welfare and attendance. The aim is to remove barriers to attendance to enable children and young people to attend school regularly, to enjoy their education and to fulfil their potential.
