Non-statutory data collections

The schools' data team collect in any data/information required and agreed by schools with the local authority. These non-statutory collections are only required locally and there is no national equivalent. An example is the year 6 to 7 transition data. These collections are either to inform local practice or to provide a smooth transfer of data from one type of body to another. An example of this is the key stage 4 results which are sent on to post-16 providers.

Preparation for autumn school census

We need to have as many pupils as possible on roll by school census day on 3 October 2024 to support budgets! Schools should provide regular information to the school admissions service if there are children on their intake lists (reception, Year 3 and Year 7) who they think are not going to take up their offered place. These offers can then be withdrawn and the places re-offered.
