This exciting initiative aims to get more young people into teaching maths and physics. Funded by the DfE, the objective is to encourage exceptional maths and physics students to get into teaching the subjects which they feel passionate about, and to educate and enable future generations of mathematicians, engineers, scientists, innovators and inventors. We find that following the completion of their undergraduate studies a high proportion of Scholars return to teach in the area that they grew up, and so this is a valuable opportunity to feed a pipeline of exceptional teachers to schools in your region.
