Over the last academic year, the local authority has been working closely with the sector, to review best practice guidance in supporting effective Early Years (EY) transitions. Through consultation at large scale events, and with the support of the Transitions Steering Group, we have been able to pull together a toolkit for EY transitions, that is reflective of what the sector shared are their 'wants' and their 'needs'.
